Sea To Sky World

밴쿠버에서 1시간 정도 1번 하이웨이를 달리면 오른쪽으로 브라이덜 폭포공원이 숲속에 숨어 있다. 정글 같은 산책길을 따라 10분 정도 완만한 숲길을 따라 오르면 수백갈래로 갈라져 내리는 면사포 폭포물결이 바위를 곱게 덮으며 아름답게 떨어지는 황홀한 풍경을 볼 수 있다. 보기 힘든 낙하의 부드러운 물결 속에 마치 눈을 아래로 지그시 감은 수없는 신부들의 얼굴이 떠오른다. ​초록의 수림과 청은 빛 물결이 이리도 잘 어울린단 말인가. 자연의 물감은 이토록 배색이 조화롭고 예술적인가. 반 고호의 손길이 느껴진다. 물소리마저 청명한 공명을 일으키며 허공을 어루만진다. 쉬지 않고 연출해내는 깊은 숲속의 변화다. 땅 밑에서 부서지며 물안개가 되어 물보라를 일으키는 연기는 운무가 되어 나무 사이로 스며든다.

If you drive east of Vancouver on Highway 1 for about 1 hour, you will find Bridal Falls Park on the right below the mountain. If you follow the gentle forest trail for about 10 minutes along the path as the jungle, you can hear the sound of the waterfall that splits into hundreds of branches. There you can see beautiful scenery that falls beautifully on the rocks. When you stand in front of the soft waves of Bridal Falls, the faces of many brides who have their eyes downward come to mind. The verdant forest and the silky blue ripples fit well here. Is nature so harmonious and artistic? I feel the touch of Van Gogh in my heart. Even the water sound becomes symphony and touches the air. It is a concert of a deep forest that changes continuously. The waves break down under the ground and become water fog. And the water vapor that causes the water splashes into the woods and permeates through the trees.
